Family Group
In existence for over 30 years, the Family Group offers activities for families with children of all ages. Most trips are rated easy to moderate in difficulty and include AMC lodge weekends, day hiking, backpacking, hut trips, and of road biking. Families with more experienced teens and adults who enjoy a relaxed pace are also welcome. Our experience has shown that kids have more fun when hiking with other kids.

Get Involved!
We believe it’s important for kids to experience the outdoors, and the kids love it even more when there are other kids along. We’ll all have fun.
