ALL OUT: AMC ACTION PLAN 2025-2030

Since 1876, the Appalachian Mountain Club has been a leading voice for conservation while connecting people to the joy of the outdoors. We’ve led the charge on landmark legislation like the Weeks Act in 1911 and the Highland Conservation Act in 2004. We’ve served as hands-on stewards of nearly 2,000 miles of trails and protected more than 114,000 acres of the iconic 100-Mile Wilderness through our Maine Woods Initiative. Our community of 90,000 members from Maine to Virginia make use of our vast recreational network of outdoor program centers, lodges, huts, and camps—but our aspirations are even bigger.
