Advanced Top-Rope Site Management

The Advanced Top-Rope Site Management Workshop is a 2-day course covering the skills for setting up safe and efficient top-rope climbs in complex settings.

The workshop cover sport leading, group management, equalized gear anchors, and rescue.

Day one covers sport leading, cliff selection, traditional gear placement, and advanced top-rope anchors.

Day two covers climbing group management from the cliff top….. lower, rap, climb, and haul.

Prerequisites

Participants should have experience climbing 5.8 pitches, good skills with knots, belaying, rappelling, and basic top-rope setup.

This two-day NH Chapter workshop is for experienced climbing trip leaders.

Location

White Mountain Cliffs appropriate to the specific class.
